Marine Dye Tabs"Safe for our Marine Environment"
Dye Tablets Directions: Open the packet of dye tabs and empty directly into the toilet of the vessel. Flush the toilet for 10 seconds. Immediately following this, check around the vessel to see if there is any trace of the dye entering the water. If you see dye around the vessel after flushing toilet, it means that the sewage in the holding tank is being dumped directly into the water. If no dye appears after flushing the head, you can be assured that the sewage is being contained within the holding tank. What can I do to remove the dye? The color of all dyes will disappear if the solution is mixed with chlorine. Add approximately 4 grams of 12% bleach for every gram of product in the solution. Adding water will also dilute dye concentration.
Trace Marine dye tabs are safe and non-toxic and will not adversely affect one's health. In case of ingestion, drink several large glasses of water. The person's perspiration and urine will be tinted the color of the dye for a short period of time. Interested marina owners/operators, please click here.
